Spacchiusu  is a very special lamp. The jute thread, illuminated by the light of the lamp, creates a unique sensation. The ceramic base, on the other hand, is created and painted by hand by a craftsman from Sciacca. It is an atmosphere lamp which, even when switched off, knows how to excite with its beauty.

** WHERE THE NAME COMES FROM **

What laughs! I couldn't stop laughing! That day, on the beach, he was in a really good mood, he knew that a new adventure would begin for him! He would have known other trunks and, perhaps who knows, he would have traveled the world a bit. And that made him so happy and funny, Spacchiusu !

** CERAMIC BASE **

The base is a ceramic majolica created by hand by our trusted craftsman from Sciacca, a Sicilian city famous for its ceramics. The pattern and colors of the majolica are typical of the area .

** WOOD CONDITION **

It is a trunk coming from the sea, exactly from the Mediterranean. It was found on the beach of Ribera (AG).
It still has the scents of the sea and the whitish color derives from the salt that has soaked into the wood.
The majolica instead was created by a craftsman from Sciacca , famous for its ceramics.
The wood is not treated, it is not painted. The will is precisely to work it as little as possible, to try to maintain all those characteristics that make it beautiful and wild.
